Alexandra “Alex” Eala has been included in the entry list of another clay-court tournament, this time a WTA 125 event, just days before the French Open in May.
Eala is scheduled to compete in the Madrid Open (WTA 1000) from April 21 to May 3, followed by the Rome Open (WTA 1000) from May 5 to 17. She is also listed for the WTA 125 Parma Ladies Open in Italy, set to take place from May 11 to 16.

However, her participation in Parma will likely depend on how far she advances in Rome, as the second week of the WTA 1000 event overlaps with the WTA 125 tournament.
A similar situation occurred earlier this year, when Eala’s participation in the WTA 125 Philippine Women’s Open depended on her campaign in the Australian Open. After an early exit from the Grand Slam, she was able to return to Manila and compete in the inaugural event.
Following her stint in Italy, Eala is expected to play in the French Open, which runs from May 24 to June 7.
